CruzArmor is backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty. CruzArmor is designed to protect the most vulnerable areas of your paint and lens surfaces from scratches, dings, chips, and abrasions that occur during everyday riding. We manufacture CruzArmor here in the USA from the highest quality materials in the industry. We custom design, and precision cut each kit to help protect the high traffic, most vulnerable areas, for years to come.
Legal Terms:
We guarantee that your CruzArmor protective film will not crack, peel, delaminate, or yellow. The warranty does not cover any damage to CruzArmor protective film that has been caused by external wear and tear, misuse, externally applied chemicals, decals, brackets, straps, or damage resulting from scrapes, scuffs, accidents or collisions. This warranty is only applicable to the CruzArmor material itself, and does not imply any warranty to the underlying lens, paint, or painted surfaces.
What To Expect Once CruzArmor Is Installed:
When CruzArmor has been professionally installed, allow 5 to 7 days (depending upon temperature) for the film to properly cure, and for any underlying moisture to evaporate. During this curing period, you may see small liquid bubbles, or light fogging, which is normal. Do not press, poke, or aggressively rub the CruzArmor film during this time. You can lightly clean, or gently wipe down your protected surface with a clean microfiber towel during this curing period (see Care instructions below).
While it is our installers goal to leave you with a perfectly clean and clear installation, it is not uncommon for there to be minor blemishes, slight imperfections, tiny stretch marks, or possibly even a specks or two of dust in the finished product. However, know with confidence, that your underlying lens or paint remains pristine, and will stay that way for many years to come. Keep in mind, CruzArmor is designed to protect the costly lens, or painted surface underneath, which were manufactured or applied in a dust free, clean room, or paint & body type environment. Your CruzArmor finish will look incredible, and you will love how easy it is to clean, however, it is not meant to replace that expensive lens or painted finish underneath, but rather to protect it.
Care Instructions:
To extend the life and beauty of your CruzArmor product, we recommend washing with mild soap & water. Use clean micro fiber towels when wiping clean. We recommend periodically applying a coat of urethane safe wax to both the CruzArmor, as well as the other painted surfaces of your vehicle. If a buildup of dirt or wax occurs along the edge of the protective material, use a wet Q-tip, or wet micro fiber towel to clean the edges. Do not aggressively rub towels, especially dry towels, or brushes on protective film, as this may scratch or dull the glossy surface. In addition, you can use general motorcycle/automotive/plastic cleaners or spray cleaners that are approved for use on plastics (Protect All, Purple Slice, Plexus, etc.).
Removing CruzArmor:
CruzArmor protection is engineered to adhere to your lens, or painted surfaces, however, it can be removed with care. We recommend contacting CruzArmor for removal tips, prior to removing any protective film yourself. CruzArmor cannot know the quality, or condition of the underlying lens, or painted surface (especially on repainted, custom painted, or pinstriped surfaces), and will not be held liable for any form of paint damage which might occur during a removal or adjustment process.
Replacing CruzArmor:
If your CruzArmor protection is damaged somehow in the "Line Of Duty", and you choose to replace the damaged piece(s), so as to continue protecting the underlying lens, or paint, please contact us to discuss pricing and installation options. Feel free to contact CruzArmor if you have any questions about your protection.
